Shaker Home Card - H2H Challenge Stamp Your Own Background

Cute A2 housewarming card for the H2H challenge.
I really like the colors...and that little lamp stamp is super cute. (I'm not sure which stamp set the inside sentiment is from?)
The cut of the card is a little different from the norm.  Its much higher up in the front (shorter) so it doesn't sit well on a desk without support...but it looks really cute.
I love shaker cards.
Anyways, enjoy!

A Warm Welcome Coaster Card

This is a little coaster card.
They are really easy to make and look super cute.  You can make them as simple or elaborate as you like.  For some I've added pull-outs to both sides making a mini-album.  Others I've left them just like this...  The dry embossing on the side makes them really look like a little book.

The size of the card is about 4 x 4.

Cardstock: CTMH (White Daisy and Juniper)
Patterned Paper: CTMH (Perfect Day Paper)
Stamps: CTMH (Welcome Home)
Ribbon: CTMH (Cocoa grossgrain)
Ink: CTMH (Cocoa and Goldrush)
Other: Corner Rounder, Cuttlebug and Coasters.

Red, White and Blue Star Card

I had a lot of fun creating this card. Something a little out of the box for me...
This card was created for a number of challenges. First for Laura's super fun sketch 52 for 2S4U.  Then for the Shabby Tea Room Challenge. And finally for the Just Us Girls Challenge.

I used quite a bit of different stamp sets for this card as well.
Hope you like it!!

H2H Challenge - Second Entry

I hope we can enter this challenge twice? When I saw these cards I thought they would be perfect for the challenge...

Attached are a few cards showcasing one of my favorite stamp sets...Love Birds! I love the colors of these cards and the font on the "Somebirdy Loves" - so pretty.

The technique I used here is dry embossing-one of my favorites.
For the base card I embossed the lines using my handy-dandy cutter.
Then for the mats I used my cuttlebug.
For all of the cards I used my fiskars scissors and my liquid pearls...=)
Enjoy!!

A2 Cards:
Cardstock: CTMH (Creme Brulee, White Daisy, Sorbet and Tulip)
Patterned Paper: Scraps (I believe they are Basic Grey and MME)
Stamps: CTMH (Somebirdy Loves You)
Ink: CTMH (Cocoa and Tulip)
Ribbon: CTMH
Sparkles: CTMH
Other: Fiskars, Cuttlebug and Liquid Pearls.

H2H Challenge - Technique

So for my technique I chose embossing...

That is a technique right? I love to emboss - no matter what you are trying to do when embossing it always comes out perfectly - even when you mess up. I've found that the CTMH embossing powder works the best for me - and believe me, I've tried others...

I embossed the leaf and then tied twine around the image and some matching cardstock. I dry embossed the paper behind the leaf with my cuttlebug and punched the border. I stamped the sentiment on some cardstock and matted it with cocoa. Then I glued everything together.

Cardstock: CTMH (Juniper and Cocoa)
Patterned Paper: Costco paper pack
Stamps: CTMH (Flourished Blessings); PTI (Sentiment - First Fruits)
Ink: CTMH (Cocoa)
Embossing Powder: CTMH (Gold)
Other: Twine (PTI); Cuttlebug; Fiskars Border Punch
