You Only Live Once

Pretty card. I really like the bird and swirl effect. Next time I'm just going to focus on that. It looks much better in real life.
I pierced tiny holes around the swirls and decorated them with glitter to give it extra focus.

Clock Cards

Today I'm posting two different cards made with the same stamps. Both are graduation cards but could easily be cards for almost any occassion--birthday, new job, etc. I used one of the stamps from this set to create the background and then finished it off with various sentiments, clocks, and some ribbon. Enjoy!

Stamps: CTMH (Background, clock and "You only live once" from the Make it count set, other sentiment from Aspiration set)
Paper: All CTMH (Vineyard Berry, Tulip, and White Daisy) (and some scrap paper)
Ribbon and Sparkle: CTMH

Oh Baby! Card

There seems to be so many baby showers or baby births in recent months so I made a little collection of these baby cards.
I think they turned out really cute. The inside has a line of "oh baby" stamped across it. Stamped some animals on white cardstock, colored and glued the strip on the card. Embossed the chocolate cardstock and added ribbon. The "OH BABY" was cut out using my cricut-storybook cartridge. The edge of the card was trimmed with scissors and the "OH" was glued on a punch out.

Stamps: Amuse Stamps (Lion, Tiger & Bear and Oh Baby Stamps)
Paper: Cardstock all from CTMH (White Daisy, Tulip, and Chocolate)
Ribbon: PTI
Tools: Cuttlebug, Cricut (storybook font), punch and Fiskars scissors.

Another Pirate Birthday Card!!

I do love this set. If you have boys (or like in my case, nephews =)) this set is a must! This one is not as fancy as my last one, but still super cute. You can't tell but the blue background is all glittery giving it an ocean effect. The little stars come with this set. My little nephew loved the card--was dancing around with it for days!

Stamps: My Cat's Pajamas

Paper: CTMH (White Daisy, Chocolate, Juniper)

Tools: Glitter, Copics, Cuttlebug, Fiskers, Ink-CTMH

Do I Smell Cake? Birthday Card

I was trying to use all my scraps and didn't have enough patterned paper to cover the front, so I improvised. Really cute set from My Cat's Pajama's. You can't tell from the pictures, but I popped one of the cakes out--really cute effect. Love the colors too.

Stamps: My Cat's Pajamas

Cardstock: Patterned paper (scraps); Solid Close to My Heart

Ribbon: PTI

Tools: Fiskers, Cuttlebug, Copics and Liquid Glass (CTMH)

Baby Background Card

I love this card. I made the background using winter colors for a winter baby. I made the B with my cricut, the aby is from an alphabet stamp from CTMH, embossed a strip of paper with my cuttlebug, cut a two little strips of paper with my fiskers scissors. I made a few in different colors and for different occassions.

Stamps: Papertrey Ink (background stamps) and CTMH (alphabet stamps)

Cardstock: CTMH (Tulip and White Daisy)

Tools: Fiskers, Cuttlebug and Cricut

Friendship Card

This is a really simple card. But looks very pretty. I didn't want to take away from the beautiful paper in the front so I just added some small flowers and topped it off with a sparkle.

Stamps: Papertrey Ink

Cardstock: Close to My Heart (White Daise, Olive, Cocoa) and patterned paper K&Company

Sparkle: Close to My Heart

Flower: My stash

Wedding Dress Card

The pictures don't do this card justice...it really is very pretty.
First I stamped white cardstock with the design I wanted to use for my dress.
Then I cut out the dress from the stamped paper.
I did the same thing with a piece of vellum paper but left the bottom long then used scissors to cut out design. I used a ribbon slidder with some ribbon for the belt and added some rhinestones.
Paper: White Daisy, Chocolate, & Vineyard Berry (CTMH)
Vellum: Office Depot
Stamp (for dress): Adorable Backgrounds (CTMH)
Ribbon: Michael's dollar bin
Embellishments: Sparkles from CTMH, Ribbon Slider from AMM--I think.
Tools: Cuttlebug, design scissors
