PTI January Blog Hop Challenge

So it's been a while since I've posted - sorry.  Between work and the holidays I've been swamped.  But what a better way to start off the new year and my blog again with PTI's blog hop.  This is my first time entering the challenge so I'm hoping I did it correctly.  So the challenge is to use a stamp set that you either have yet to use or haven't used in a while.  I chose the later cause I usually use all my stamps immediately upon arrival (I literally tear open the box before my bag and coat are down) but then sometimes don't go back to them for a while.  So I used two of my favorite sets.  The first is the Tea for Two Additions and the other is the Fly Away set which I love and promise to use more often (hopefully once they make a die for the plane - hint*hint*).  I was actually on a role and so I made a bunch for a gift but that's for another day... =)  Hope you like them.  Naz

Vintagy Card for Embellish Magazine Challenge

I made this card for the Embellish Magazine Challenge.  We had to create a Vintage project using Green, Yellow and Rust.  I used some white CTMH cardstock for the card and some vintagy green patterned paper from Costco.  I cut the edges of the patterned paper using my fiskars scissors and added liquid pearls.

The middle yellow and white paper with the sentiment is from some
scrap paper I had leftover that looks vintagy to me also and it was the
perfect shade of yellow.  The sentiment is from a PTI stamp.
The center of the card with the sentiment was cut using my Cricut.  I also added two diamond stickers to the sentiment for that extra pop.  The dragonfly is from a CTMH stamp that I added glitter to - its super sparkly in real life. =)  The rust color bled a little when
I went over it with a glue pen.
Enjoy.  Naz

A Tweet Little Bird-Day Card

I made this sweet little birthday card for one of my best friends.
You can click on the pictures for more detail.  I think it came out
adorable looking...and it was really alot of fun to make.  I loved
coloring the birdhouses and then cutting them out and "hanging"
them from the "tree branch".
Bird, birdhouse and outside sentiment stamps are from Unity.
The "tree branch" is really a flourish from a CTMH stamp.  And
the frame and inside sentiment are PTI stamps.  All of the paper
is from CTMH.  The ribbon is from the Craft Expo.  I also used
my fiskars scissors, my Liquid Pearls, and my Copics to decorate.

Hope you enjoy it!!  Naz

Flourished Blessings - H2H Challenge

This card was made for the H2H....Leaves and Trees Challenge.
I made a long and lean card using white daisy CTMH cardstock and some Costco paper - which really goes well with all the fall stuff.  I used some cocoa CTMH cardstock and punched the edges.  Tied some twine around the cardstock and glued it to the card.  I embossed my leaf with gold embossing powder, cut it out and then foam mounted on the card.  I added a little bit of the twine to the leaf edge so it looks like its tied to the card and just hanging on by a string.  The leaf turned our really pretty click on the image for a better view if you like.
Thanks for stopping by...

Cardstock: CTMH (White Daisy and Cocoa)
Patterned Paper: Costco
Stamps: CTMH (Flourished Blessings)

A Mother's Love - 2S4Y - Sketch #62

This card was done for Kazan's Sketch #62.  We had to make a creative border of some sort.  I used one of my favorite MS border punches and made this card for a new mother-to-be.  I love all of the MS punches.  I can't get enough of them.
I can't remember what paper I used (I think its SEI) but I'm not certain.  The stamps are from CTMH (the butterfly and the sentiment).  I added glitter to the butterfly to make it pop-the blue is really sparkly.  For the cut-out, I first cut the outside of the card using my cricut & then glued that portion onto the inside and then popped out an oval circle (also cut from my cricut). Hope you like it...Naz

Cardstock: CTMH (White Daisy)
Patterned Paper: I think its SEI - but not certain.
Stamps: CTMH (Possibilities)
Ink: CTMH
Other: MS Punch, MS Glitter, Glue Pen and Cricut

Okay Ladies - Vote for your favorite =).
Bib cards were requested, so the first couple are bib cards and then the last two were designs I kinda liked.  The purple/lavender color was also a request so each card has some sort of purplish shade to it...
Let me know your favorite...

Happy Birthday Pigs!!

I made this card for one of my nephew's birthday.  I really liked the colors of the card and he loved the little bell that I attached to the card.  Couldn't stop shaking it... It was a pretty simple card.  Stamped out the pigs on white cardstock (aren't the pigs just darling?) and cut them out.  Added some color and liquid glass to thier nose, ears and cupcakes and then matted them with some textured paper.  The same with the sentiment.  Tied some ribbon with of course the bell and waalaa..
Hope you like it...

Cardstock: CTMH (White Daisy and Cranberry); Textured cardstock from company going out of business-can't remember the name.
Stamps: CTMH (Nursery Bash)
Ink: CTMH
Ribbon: CTMH

Merry & Bright Card for H2H Challenge

This is for the H2H Sentiment Challenge.  A cute little pocket Holiday Card.  I loved the way this card turned out.  Almost like a little purse...it makes me feel Merry & Bright.  Almost everything here is CTMH...a few of my favorite holiday stamps...
The tag in the front got a drop of water on it =( Will likely have to redo that).
Anyways - hope you like it...

Lemon Card...

This is for the A Passion For Papertrey Punch Challenge.
I made this card for one of my friends who was feeling a bit down...I thought all the lemons would cheer her up!  I'm not sure that it worked, but it sure cheered me up!  The stamps are mostly from PTI's Tea For Two Additions (the champagne glasses are from MFT's stamps)
I combined some of the lemons to give me full slices instead of wedges... I used the diecut for the teacup and for the fillable frame (for the inside of the card as well).  Plus I used my hole puncher for the twine (did I get enough punches in there?).  I didn't have martini glasses for the inside so I had to improvise.  I also wrote out the text since I didn't exactly have the right stamp for the sentiment. =)
All in all I think the card turned out really cute.
Hope you like it...

Supplies:
Cardstock: CTMH (White Daisy)
Patterned Paper: K&Company
Stamps: PTI (Tea For Two Additions); MFT (Who's That Girl - Champagne Glasses)

Inchies & Folds...

This card was made for two challenges - the Embellish Mag - inchy & color challenge and the H2H fancy fold challenge.  I made the card using black, green and a teensy bit of white cardstock.  I stamped images on the little inches in pansy purple ink and foam mounted them onto a square black cardstock and added a little bit of twine.  I colored the images with my copics and added some sparkle.
I also added a little bit of black ribbon to keep the card closed.  I should have taken a picture of it open, but I forgot. ;)

Cardstock: CTMH (Black, Olive and White Daisy)
Stamps: CTMH (Beautiful Backgrounds)
Ink: CTMH (Pansy Purple)
Other: Twine-PTI; Ribbon-Scrapbook Expo; Sparkles-CTMH; Foam Mount-3M; Copics
